"my_home_navigation_page" user preference not resulting in desired landing page

Hi all,

it is my understanding from the ServiceNow Doc below that setting a User Preference for "my_home_navigation_page" for a specific user makes the Dashboard (for example) URL entered in the Value field on the User Preference record the landing page for that specific User when they login into ServiceNow.  However this does not appear to be working.  Is this the expected behavior?

This should work like you are saying. See if you can find something here.

How to make Dashboards the default landing page for all users

It should change the value but can you manually check glide.login.home property.
