Rejecting/approving any Change approval request , the wf_activity is getting empty.

When I am Rejecting/approving any Change approval request , the wf_activity field is getting empty. can anyone explain/ know how it is configured for normal change ?

the wf_activity field gets populated when approval is generated for record.

It's an internal field and you need not worry on how it's handled etc by platform.

I want to know the configuration , because in my case this OOTB behaviour is not happening, as this activity is not getting empty so next time when I am again requesting for approval in authorize stage , it is moving the rejected approval as requested.
so it would be a great help if you can suggest any point to diagnose the issue .

By default that field is inactive in fresh instance. So I believe it's some other issue in your case.
