There is an available field on features called Delivery Plan. The only documentation I can find for delivery plan is related to Service Catalog and says it is not supported.
Is there any documentation or is this link correct and it is just inheriting that field from the task table?

Release management has become deprecated so this question is no longer relevant. It has been replaced by Digital Product Release (DPR). There a some other issues I have noticed with release v2 that make it not work keeping or adding onto.
