Restrict KB Article access to certain users

Hello Experts,

 

There is a need to restrict a KB Article to some users. When I set the kb roles to "public" and set the Can Read attribute. Its still showing the KB to everyone in service now portal. Not to selected group of audiences added in the "Can Read".

 

Is there a way we can give access to limited users to the ones added into "Can Read " .

Just FYI:- we cannot remove the role- public as it is one of the criteria for the chatbot to populate the KB.

 

Please help here and le me know your thoughts.

Hi @Sajal Chatterje,

 

You could try populating the Cannot Read attribute to prevent users to read it, with the opposite of the Can read you are now using. (You may have to add this field to the form layout first)
