Our current change management process utilizes Risk assessment and one risk condition. We would like to reduce the risk assessment questionnaire and move those to risk conditions calculate based on the fields on change form.
Based on docs I see system takes the highest value of both but in this case we might always get highest value from risk conditions as the risk assessment will have less questions, can we have a hybrid solution where we take both values and decide the final risk value, did anyone implement this before?
Also can we also display risk questionnaire based on the risk condition values? or will system checks the risk assessment first before evaluating the conditions ?
Any help is appreciated.

Hi,
Yes you can use both as a combination, or just one by itself, we have a number of different combinations with our clients. The below link shows how this works:
https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/sandiego-it-service-management/page/product/change-management/concept/c_RskAsmtCalc.html
Note that Risk Conditions can set both Risk and Impact, whereas Risk Assessment only sets the Risk field, not the Impact.
Hope this helps.
Cheers
Carl.
