Roles are not inherited from ITIL groups

We have encountered an issue where some users are missing inherited roles from ITIL group. The roles were removed without any audit history.

We have observed that removing a user from a group and adding them back resolves the issue. However, we are unsure why this is happening. Do you have any insights on this?

What will I do if the roles have been removed from all ITIL groups for all users? Is there any quick fix available?
