Hi All,
I have a query regarding sailpoint integration with serviceNow, Do we need to enable a plugin in
service-now for sailpoint integration or does it require any plugin or adaptor from Sailpoint end to
establish the integration between both the parties.?
I need your expert input for establishing the integration between service now and sailpoint.
Thanks
Gaurav

SailPoint Service Catalog Integration is an integration between ServiceNow and SailPoint IdentityIQ. This allows users of both systems to easily navigate from ServiceNow into IdentityIQ, and gives users a "one stop shop" to request all IT related items.
The integration between Sailpoint and ServiceNow gives mutual customers a complementary identity access governance and service management solution that works together to ensure strong controls are in place to meet ever stringent security and compliance requirements around user access to sensitive applications. The integration also allows users to perform other activities (such as password changes, approve access, manage account) that are configured within the system.
The SailPoint Service Catalog Integration enables the use of IdentityIQ Lifecycle Manager within ServiceNow user interfaces. The inclusion of the SailPoint Service Catalog Integration Application provides the following functionality within ServiceNow:
• Manage Account for Me
- Enable/Disable/Unlock/Delete Accounts
• Request Access for Me/Others
- Request for Entitlement
- Request for Roles
• Request Password Changes
• My Access Approvals
• Track My Requests
- Get Request Status
- Get complete details of request Item

Hi @daisytechpost I've only recently been introduced to SailPoint and ServiceNow, and actually only as a project manager. You post is the first one that's made sense to me as a non-technical person. <insert smiley face>
The company I am working with would like 99% of access requests to originate from ServiceNow and want to have one of the following things done 1. Hide the "Access Request" button in IIQ, 2. Rename the "Access Request" button to "Request <name of system> Access," 3. Reroute the "Access Request" button to ServiceNow, 4. Disble the "Access Request" button.
This will ensure all users only have one starting point for anything access related (ServiceNow) and will not be able to request access from both ServiceNow and IIQ. The users of the only remaining application managed by IIQ until there is capacity & budget to move it, will be notified to use a temporary process.
Thank you in advance for your guidance.
Regards
