I am trying to troubleshoot our Homepage Search widget. When I search anything from the Service Poral homepage, it results in no results found.
This is what it used to look like (minus the catalog item)
We had this set up to show any Self Service articles in our Self Service KB. This is broken in both our production and development instances. I'm not sure exactly when it broke, but we think it broke around the same time our managed service provider set up AI Search Assist on our record producers. The managed service provider is saying our previously working search function was an out of the box item but they seem to be implying we can't get back to that.

The Faceted Search widget supports searching facets in both desktop and mobile environments. Can you verify you have it active for both? You might have it only active for one or the other..??

You might want to start with your search sources.. filter navigator>Service Portal>Search Sources. Make sure these are up-to-date with what you are allowing to search.

Had the exact same issue and after creating a case with ServiceNow the solution (to be confirmed if it's something permanent or on the spot) was to restart the nodes of the affected instance.

@Alexandru-Robe1 Do you have steps to restart the nodes of the affected instance? Is that something I can do?
