Hello Devs,

I am trying to integrate service now Jira using Jira spoke/integration hub, have followed the below 2 articles we have an on premise Jira server that uses only basic auth, I have set up a mid server and we created a user profile set up for access to Jira that we use in basic auth credentials.

1. https://support.servicenow.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0792632

2. https://support.servicenow.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0760302

I am facing the below problems:

1. There is a client script error on http connection (attached image), not sure if it can be Ignored as I have checked the client script as well(attached image).

2.When trying to create Issue in flow designer not able to fetch project key and Issue type.

Have gone extensively through community and support articles please help/suggest on how to create Integration.

PS: Please don't post third party tools, we have no intention of using them.

Regards.

Hi @VT1Dev ,

We were also facing the same issue, where Project Key and Issue Type were not syncing. So for this, what we did, as we connected a JIRA server with ServiceNow, we used MID server and we selected a specific MID server. Also, we selected the connection type as 'Server' and not 'Cloud'. This way we could sync the Project Key and Issue Types. You have to first check if you are using the JIRA cloud or JIRA server.

Hi VT1Dev

So it's my understanding that there is a client script error on the HTTP connection, and you've already checked the client script without finding a solution and you're unable to fetch the project key and issue type when trying to create an issue in the flow designer.

Can I propose you Exalate. It is an integration solution that works super fast in my opinion. I have been using it for quite a while and it instantly jumped in my thoughts reading this post. Hope to have helped you and have a great day!
