Set Short description value from catalog item

I wanted to know how many ways there are to set the short description via catalog item variables. We are troubleshooting a catalog item and trying to find how short description value getting set by select box type variable, not able to find the configuration.

We have checked below thing:

1 - Flow - not available

2 - Catalog client script - not available

3 - Business rule - not available

4 - field map - not available

5 - workflow - not available

6 - client script - not available

Ideally, it should be one of what you have checked. If it is a record producer check for Script field on the Record producer/Catalog item backend form.
