Shall i create new table or use task table for below requirement

Hi Team ,

I have a scenario here , like Cash Team requested to create new catalog items for their team to triage incoming requests. There will be a new assignment group set up for Cash Team. This group should only be able to view the tickets that is created for cash team tickets and should not be able to view any other service now tickets.
And same way other team should not see Cash team ticket. Please suggest best way to handle it. shall i use existing request module or create a new table , build the catalogs ?

You need to create a catalog item and use request management.

There is no need of creating new table. Just create new catalog item based on user requirements.

There are nearly 20 new fields need to be added , is it recommended to add lot of fields in Request item table ? will it be a problem while upgrade ? Also how do i restrict these form other ITIL users ?

These are not field, you can create variables and use them.
