sys_id is different for users but the name is same in other instances

The flow is working in the dev instance, but in other instances, the approvers are not triggering in the approval tab because the sys_id is different for the approver person but the name of the person is same in all instances which is impacting the flow. 

Is there any solution to avoid this 'sys_id'  issue? Please help.

Hi there,

 

If users are created through an integration on every instance seperatly, that can happen though should be in sync if you regularly do a System Clone.

 

Question is a bit how did you set up the approval part? Against groups? Or against individual users? If users... yeah it might look like visually you are selecting a user and doing an oke job, though in fact you are just hardcoding 😁, so issue if there is a sys_id difference on instances.
