Hi
We have Catalog Items with variables that are mandatory on catalog task, issue is when the task is reassigned to another group, these catalog variables will be mandatory and this is causing issue to the current assignees. Is there any feasible option in ServiceNow to resolve the case in multiple catalog item in a go?

Hi Diya,
usually, once the fields are filled in the user form the values won't be changed. if we have other conditions like the fields need to be filled by the assignment group, in this case, we need to push the changes to the prod before closing the task.
if it's not possible to push the changes simply we can close incomplete the task.
Example: We have a live example in my project. in the sctask we have a user id field its mandatory one by the assignment group.
if we want to disable this mandatory field, we can push the change to prod, else close the task.

somehow you get to know the group was changed from A to B and when the catalog task form is opened and it's group B then you can ensure the variables are not mandatory
what did you try so far?
