Update Assignment Rules for Read-Only Access Users

The goal is to display the group name instead of the sys_id in the assignment rules condition in ServiceNow.

 

  • For Admins with edit access, they should be able to both view and edit the group name in the condition field.
  • For users with read-only access, they currently see the group’s sys_id instead of the group name. We need to ensure that ITIL users with read-only access can also view the group name instead of the sys_id in the sysrule_assignment.LIST record
