Hi Everyone,
I need to update the CWM plugin from the current version(5.0.0) to the Latest version (6.0.3). Does any data will be lost ?  Should I have a backup of any data?
Also I need to update the plugin in all 3 Instances (Dev, Test and Prod). should we update the Plugin Manually only or is there an Automation Process ?

Please pour your Insights.
Thank You!

Hi @Madhan007

There will be no data loss when you update any plugin to the latest version. You will gain new features and benefits from the latest updates. However, before you update, it’s important to carefully review the release notes of the latest version to understand what’s new and any potential impacts.

You need to update the plugin manually in each environment, one by one. Start with the development environment, test thoroughly to ensure everything works fine, and then proceed to the next environment.

Hi @Dr Atul G- LNG
I can see one related System Property has been Created/Updated(Customized) . Does it mean it will be deleted ?

Also, is there a roll back Option ?

Thank You!

No, nothing will be deleted, but you can review what has changed after the update. There is no way to roll back, so it’s best to update in the development environment first.
