Hi Team ,
In the dev instance we have received 263 skipped records but in test instance we have received 5 skipped, Could anyone tell why the same skipped is not received in test , why it is so much difference is showing.

The main reason is that both instances may not be in sync. They might have different configurations, versions, plugins, or entities. It’s also possible that the code available in Dev has not been moved to Test yet. Therefore, the record count may differ, and we should not consider it a defect until the instances are confirmed to be aligned. @chandan86patra

The difference in skipped record counts between your development and test instances usually happens because the two instances are not identical in ootb record modifications, or sync/clone timelines.
A skipped record is generated during an upgrade only when an incoming base system update conflicts with a record that was previously modified locally on that specific instance.
