Variables are not appearing under Variables names drop down in Catalog client script.

Hi All,

 

Have to create onChange client script so ,under Variable name drop down, not able to see variables(there are 30) to choose , and it is a record producer.

 

Attached the screen shot refernce.

I just tried by creating new  single line text variable , i am able to see under drop down, not the older existing varibales, can anyone please suggest what is the cause for this issue.

Resolution

You can fix the issue by adding the 'variable set' field to the form layout of the missing catalog item variable.  Then, delete whatever is being held in the 'variable set' field even though it's blank on the surface. Alternatively, you can select any other variable set, and then set the field to blank/empty.  

If multiple catalog item variables are affected, you may be able to 'set empty' the Variable Set field with a script.

I just checked with developer who created record producer, they confirmed that variables were not visible before as well.

happening with only this record producer or all record producers?

yes only with one record producer.

so earlier 30 variables cannot be seen but new one if you create then it's visible in drop down?
