variables are not visible in portal but visible in catalog form view.

Hi Everyone,

 

Variables are not visible in portal for few catalog items, even I have checked below link but no use, please can anyone help.

Couple of things to check on the variables that do not appear: 

 

1. Check the 'Visible on Guides' value true/false 

2. Do not use a variable set which contains variables that has the same name as the variable set name

3. Check the variable type is supported in Service Portal here:

I have checked variable name and variable set name is different and this is happening only for few items

Hi DhanaLaskhmi,

I got same issues and I gone through Snow community. I tried with below options and it worked for me.

***check its associate catalog UI policy and client script which having UI type as ALL***

for this goto section part of UI policy "script" then "Run scripts in UI type" and make as "All" it should help you.
