Hello,
We are in the process of implementing the Walk-up experience application in our Dev envioronment for testing purposes. We can currently impersonate the walk-up user account access the portal. We now need to startto test a touch screen to to test out the walk_up portal.
The issues we have of course is that we do not know what the password is for this account. The walk_user account has the role of sn_walkup.walkup_login which allows technicians to login to a public device.
Is it best practice to reset the password for this account or create a new walk_up account and assign it to this role? I think that this might be fiddly as the walk_up account also has the snc_external role.
Thanks in advance.
David

Hi @davidsmith
either ways is fine. You can either reset the password of default walkup user account. You can use it to test and later use it in display devices.
Or you can create another account too with just 'walkup login' and 'snc_external' roles. In the recent implementation, we used default account.

In regards to creating another account did you come across adding the role snc_external? By default the user is given the snc_internal role and it seems to be impossible to change to the snc_external role.
