what does it refers "Content Owners" refers in Knowledge article?

Hi All, 

I have requirement like Customer wants to send Knowledge Article notification to Author , KB Owner and as well Content Owners.

what does it refers "Content Owners" refers?

Hi @Ramu6 ,

When a knowledge article is assigned to an ownership group:

  • Only ownership group members have contribute access to the article even if they don't have contribute access to the knowledge base of the article. They can edit, approve, publish, and retire the knowledge article with which they are associated.
  • Users who aren't a member of the ownership group can't contribute to the article even if they have contribute access to the knowledge base of the article.

So my question was like for whom did i need to sent email notification when it is for Content Owners(who is recipient)?

Hi @Ramu6 ,

Knowledge Owners are individuals who have the role of managing or stewarding company knowledge in one specific topic area. They are experts in their topic, within the functional department.
