Hi Chandramouli
If we check the inherit checkbox it mean it will work on the table that extend the table on the script
For example if we had a client script on the base table(task table) in which inherit is checked. It means that client script would be active for incident, problem and change.
Thanks

Hi, I think you got the answer but I just want to make clear how inherit checkbox will work on "service catalog"
Inherit checkbox will extends the client scripts to that catalog, which is applicable on the base table linked to the same service catalog.
please correct me, if I'm wrong...!
please click on "Helpful", if its right...!

Hi Mouli,
If you have a "Hardware" category with standard support details IN DESCRIPTION, SHORT DESCRIPTION, DEPARTMENT etc,
when creating a new service request under "Hardware," checking "Inherit" would automatically populate those support details in the new request, unless you need to modify them for the specific issue.
Hope it helps you.
Thanks,
Venkat.
