When creating a standard change using a template, the category filed is becoming empty.

Hi Everyone,

there is a standard change template, for that template there is a field called category and that filed is empty when i click create standard change button. This is only for few templates, not all the templates. How do I fix it ?

Has the category field been configured in that template? If it's configured but the value still becomes empty, you need to validate the client script/UI policy scripts. It might be getting cleared because of those scripts.

Hi @Community Alums,

 

The Standard change template category might be inactive and hence, will be removed when you click the Create standard change button. You have 3 below solutions to resolve the issue.

  1. You need to retire the Standard change template
  2. You can modify a Standard Change Template with correct category
  3. You can propose a new Standard Change Template.
