why Variable Validation Regex not working on Currency field on RP?

Hi All, 

I have created one Regex for Currency, so it allows "AUD" currency only and make default value as "AUD$', so one of my Record producer i have used this one filed , and it working by showing defalt value AUD$', , but when i am trying it form one field on Another record producer, its not working

Are you testing both Record Producers the same way?  The screenshots look like different interfaces or something. Are the two variables in both Record Producers of the same type or mapped to fields that are of the same type?  I assume you've also confirmed that the validation remains selected for the non-working variable.
