Yokohama Features Clarification

Can anyone please help me with the following doubts regarding Yokohama features
1. Is the Business portal free if we have an ITSM Pro licence?

2. Also, help me with the scenario and the functionality of Multi-language Support in Catalog builder, and is this free or paid?

Hi,

The best answers regarding licensing should come from your sales rep. The licence models and SKUs keep changing, so there's rarely one straight answer that people in the community can provide.

Then to answer your questions above,

1. I don't know which portal you are referring to, would be helpful to have a link to better answer this one.

2. As far as I know Catalog builder is a build in platform feature, which does not require additional licensing. And the same goes for the language packs (i18n) that you can activate on an instance.

Hope this helps somewhat.

Hi @GBS

1) If you have ITSM Pro, the Business Portal is probably not free by default. You may need a separate CSM license or purchase the Business Portal app / plugin. To be sure, you’ll need to check with your ServiceNow account / contract, because entitlements vary.

2) The multi-language support in Catalog Builder is part of the Yokohama release enhancements. It looks like no separate paid license is explicitly required just for that feature, assuming you already have whatever base catalog builder / service catalog / now platform permissions etc./licenses you need.

Hi @GBS ,

From what I found:

Business Portal: It isn’t clearly documented that it always comes “free” with ITSM Pro. Whether you have access depends on your contract / entitlements. Best to confirm with your ServiceNow account or customer success team.

Catalog Builder with Multi-Language Support
: Yokohama includes features for translating catalog items (via the localization/translation framework) and managing translations from one item rather than duplicating for each language. In many cases, you won’t need an additional license beyond your existing catalog / platform capabilities.
