Abstract:
In this session, you'll learn how the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia went from a weekly .csv upload to a functioning CMDB, the challenges they faced, and how the implementation proved to be successful and most-noticed in the Change Management and Incident Management process. While implementation of the technology was easy, they struggled with the home-grown Excel sheets and tracking systems for servers, database instances, and applications. They'll share how they successfully converged the tedious practice of relying on institutional knowledge into a single standard approach and brought data owners into one single space with the same information.
