Session Code: BRE1882
Presenter(s): Tonye Gross
Company(s): USDA
Abstract: During the Great Depression, food shortages ran rampant, commodity prices fluctuated wildly, and the few farms producing crops often operated at a loss. In 1933, Congress established the Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC)—part of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)—providing funds to stabilize, support, and protect farm income and prices. Today the CCC continues its critical work; providing support to our farmers and ensuring the distribution of food across America. In 2019, the USDA leveraged the ServiceNow platform to modernize a paper-based funding request process. Attend this session to learn about the ServiceNow workflows and dashboards used to dramatically improve the service, quality, and speed of the CCC Funding Requests.
