Session Code: BRE0562
Presenter(s): Susan
Company(s): Celanese International
Abstract:
Sometimes the process development, design work, configuration, and testing are the easy part. The “soft stuff” — like training, organizational change management, and communication — is the “hard stuff.” Celanese needed a way to ensure that approximately 200 IT team members (fulfillers) were trained before their implementation and knew it would be difficult to get everyone to attend 14 classes. So they made it a travel-themed competition, with each student receiving a “stamp” in their passport for each class attended, and they awarded monetary prizes for winners. Join this session to hear what worked, what didn’t, how Celanese organized the development and delivery of training, and how they keep their IT users up to date as continuous improvements are made.
