Hey everyone! It's that time of year again where we all head to Knowledge. I'm in Las Vegas already (sitting through the Continual Service Improvement pre-conference workshop), and I am excited that we have a tremendous amount of content to help you learn how to unlock the power of your data with Performance Analytics and reporting.
We have both breakout sessions where you can hear from other customers on the topic and lab sessions where you can get some hands-on experience. Take a look at the schedules below to find out where you can learn more.
Breakout Sessions
Breakout sessions are a great opportunity to hear from other people how they are using analytics and reporting in order to build a data foundation in-platform that allows you to make business decisions confidently. We have everything from eliminating manual reporting to more advanced topics on Performance Analytics.
We've grouped the sessions into 4 different themes for you:
- Eliminating Manual Reporting (orange): Hear from CH Robinson, Tideworks Technology, and Amgen on how they are using the ServiceNow platform to automate reports in order to drive business goals and outcomes.
- New to Performance Analytics (red): If you are new to Performance Analytics and want to learn more about the technology and how people are using it, we have Verisk Analytics and Tideworks Technology discussing their use. We also have a lunch table talk (hosted by me) to talk about the differences between the reporting engine and Performance Analytics and when you should use each solution.
- Expanding Performance Analytics (blue): For those of you that want to hear how customers are using Performance Analytics to drive continual service improvement, check out what Ernst and Young, T-Mobile, Ubisoft, Latham & Watkins, and CH Robinson have to say.
- Performance Analytics Roadmap (green): Karel van der Poel, GM of the Analytics and Reporting business unit, will be talking about the new capabilities in reporting and Performance Analytics in Helsinki. He will also be discussing the future roadmap for Istanbul and beyond.
Lab Sessions
Want to get hands-on with Helsinki ServiceNow instances and take reporting/Performance Analytics for a spin? We have 4 separate labs for you. Categorized as beginner, intermediate, and advanced, select the session you are interested in to learn about how to unlock the power of your data.
Here are brief descriptions of the labs for your reference:
- Reporting Essentials 101: Get familiar with the reporting engine and how to visualize data.
- Performance Analytics 102: Get familiar with the basic building blocks of Performance Analytics including indicators, breakdowns, dashboards, and widgets.
- Continual Service Improvement-Analytics and Reporting 201: Learn how to apply Performance Analytics at a business level to drive continual service improvement.
- Visualizing Hierarchical Data-Analytics 301: See how to structure hierarchical data (groups, CMDB, services, etc.) effectively to get the most out of the visualizations.
