Abstract: This is a story of how a large organization moved from excel sheet to SecOps - Vulnerability Response module. Platform teams were initially using excel sheet to track and remediate vulnerabilities which was cumbersome. A detailed study of competitors was done to compare their usability and we zeroed in on the most comprehensive solution - SecOps Vulnerability Response. At first, a tactical solution was built in to bring in the data from Qualys to track and remediate vulnerabilities. Followed by a roll out of Vulnerability Response module within 90 days by a team of 3 members. We want to share our journey to everyone along with the lessons learnt.
