Abstract: Most companies that have implemented first generation GRC solutions are frustrated with the complexity of their solution, the difficulty in upgrading, the poor User Interface, and the very limited actual value delivered compared to expected promises. More than often, a audit of the solution in use reveals that it was implemented as a point solution rather that being made available across the company. It reveals as well, that after the initial implemented use case, the project stopped or was significantly complicated by further use cases. More than anything else, it has been treated as a technology project and not as a business transformation one. How could you do things differently and actually deliver value to your company?
