Are there any plans to postpone Knowledge 2020?

Are there any plans to postpone Knowledge 2020 because of the whole coronavirus situation.

Facebook has canceled its F8 conference scheduled for May 5-6 in San Jose. Any news from ServiceNow on this?

I need to get my flights done but I am concerned that this may turn out to be a bigger problem than it is right now.

I too am very concerned as I hear that more and more companies in the US are cancelling conferences.  If this becomes a pandemic, when will a decision be made to postpone K20?

Hi All,

The wellbeing of our employees, customers and partners is paramount and so we are monitoring the impact of the Coronavirus as Knowledge 2020 nears. We are working closely with public health experts and Orlando, Florida officials to understand the level of risk of Coronavirus and to take all precautions to ensure attendees safety.

At this time, we are moving forward with Knowledge 2020. We will continue to monitor the situation.

In addition, we are taking the following actions:

• We are expanding our online platform and content offering to allow anyone who cannot attend in person to participate remotely. This will augment the amazing in-person experiences we are planning.
• We will remind everyone of the importance of personal hygiene, as at any gathering, will be adding sanitizer station and asking anyone who is feeling ill, or has recently been to impacted regions, to not attend.
• We will provide updates if and when further actions are taken.

Thanks for the information. Does ServiceNow have a cutoff date on when they will communicate if the conference is postponed? I only ask due to Ellucian Live 2020 being cancelled yesterday with this communication - 

"In light of the growing concerns around the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Ellucian has made the decision to cancel Ellucian Live 2020 to protect the health and well-being of our customers, partners and employees. We will replace the in-person event with a virtual experience that will be free to all registered Ellucian Live 2020 attendees. We will be issuing full registration fee refunds. More information can be found on the FAQ page. We look forward to seeing everyone online beginning in April and appreciate your understanding."

A lot of our employees booked non- refundable air travel, so we are trying to plan for K20 and would like to know as soon as possible to avoid any additional loss.

Also, if me and the 8 or so other folks at my org purchase conference access will we be refunded if the conference is canceled?
