Has anyone used ACLs/Encryption to hide fields on Knowledge Article Templates?
I'm looking for examples on how this works as we're looking into Staff articles including a field only visible to Agents so that we can reduce the number of "duplicate" articles and promote posting in the Staff Knowledge Base more.
I can find the documentation - https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/washingtondc-servicenow-platform/page/product/knowledge-managemen...
But can't see any examples or demos?

Just looked at this and this field isn't on our templates 😔
I can't see it in the form builder fields either.
Wil have our DEVs continue to look into it.

We did this. I created a custom KCS template and made several fields only visible to our IT department, while the rest of the article is visible to all employees. I did this by applying ACLs to each restricted field. Each ACL is tied to a custom role, which is then embedded in other roles, such as the Knowledge role, to allow access as desired.
