Hi Everyone,

 

Another quick question. Is there a way to see the "total" views of an article across multiple versions? 

I'm interested to see the overall "total" views of an article to see if I can spot trends and maybe see which techniques I'm using are better than others.

Knowledge User Count is updated via the scheduled job "Count Knowledge Use", so the results will be updated on a daily basis after the job runs. The Knowledge View Count related list shows all counts.

Thanks for your quick response and its very helpful. Can we see the total count of a particular KB article?

Sure, if you select the Type as Single Score, then add the Article Number as the condition, it will give you the total number of views.

Would u pls explain difference in "Knowledge Use (Tab) vs. Use Count (field)???".

 

I have read the whole documentation in knowledge management and I still couldn’t find a specific answer regarding those two points. So I posted my question.

Hi!

 

The 'Use count' field is for when a knowledge article is attached to a Task. Knowledge Use is for when someone views an article. The below links have some good information in them.
