Date Range on Knowledge Use Report

I am working on updating and increasing our use of reports in relation to our Knowledge Base and the usage of it's articles. I have one of the OOB reports labeled "Monthly knowledge views by author" that shows the usage of articles broken down by their author. Unfortunately, it is pulling data from early 2021 and leaving more recent data as an "other" bar. Due to some documentation being created back in 2021 I do not want to leave those articles out by filtering by "created on" dates. What is the best way to remove older date ranges from this report?

Hi @Eric Jones1 ,

If you don't want to filter with created on , then there is only thing i can suggest is to filter using the name/title of the article.

If you are running the report on the [kb_use] table then the 'created' field refers to when the view was created, rather than the knowledge article itself. So if you only want to see views from the past 12 months adding a 'Created on last 12 months' will not exclude knowledge articles that were created before this period, instead, will only show views within the time frame.

I have run this report and the created column in the report matches the date that the article was created. I am not getting the results that you state.

When I try this filter it works All where the View count is greater than 1000 and Latest = true
