In articles versions, do your KB edit dates make any sense ?

Hi fellow KBMs,

In the Article versions tab, when ever we edit an article, all previous versions get todays date in the "modified on" and "updated" column.

The only column that seems OK is the "created" column.

With the print screen attached, can you tell me if you all see the same thing and have the same behavior ?

If so, what is the logic explanation to this ?

What are the differences between these 3 colunms ?

Thanks.

Hi @Rene Dugas ,

Yes you are right,

Created stores when the version is created

Updated and modified on both stores when that version is last updated.

My assumption is either they have accidentally created modified on field

or

they wanted to have a field with Field Named Modified on but they were not okay with updating the label of system field(update)

Please mark my answer as helpful/correct if it resolves your query.
