Knowledge Article Repository - Back-up Copies

Hi all,

Does anyone have best practices for storing back-up knowledge article copies?

Currently, our knowledge owners are creating articles in a word doc and saving to their hard drive, which has created challenges with referencing retired articles that were authored by someone no longer in role/the org.

I'm considering creating a Teams site that would serve as a centralized repository for knowledge owners but wanted to see if anyone has found a better solution. Any tips are welcomed, as well! 😊

Thanks!

Sarah

As long as the versions are not erased, there is this table [kb_version] to keep them:

We went through the same discussion and thought that SharePoint might have equal probability to go down, or if not than why not just have Knowledge pull from SharePoint than have to store it two places.
