Total Cost of Ownership - Tacking at Division, Team, and Project Level

I understand the ServiceNow will allow for TCO tracking at an applications level, however we are being asked to track also at a Division, Team, and Project levels. Is this a possibility, is there any documentation on how this can be achieved?  Our organizational goal is to utilize TCO then to track OPEX and CAPEX in each of the above respective levels.

Hi there,

 

This is something that you can do with the Proven Optics Cost Modeling application on the ServiceNow Store. You can use the application to model TCO for anything you want - Projects, Applications, Services, etc.

 

You input your financials to the model (usually budget and/or actuals) with the OpEx and CapEx tags - which we can derive from account numbers. Then you can show this information by the respective levels you have in your model (or in your example - Division, Teams, and Projects).
