Problems with clean install

Hi All - 

 

Just starting an implementation of LSD in our existing ITSM ServiceNow instance.   Installed the Request and Counsel Center plugins and went through the documentation and the Guided Setup, but not getting very far until I hit a wall.  I can get requests in, but the State is read-only, (even with my admin login, and with all the OOTB sn_lg_ops roles and groups) and shows a number (77) instead of a text value.  Also the Collaborators and Category fields are read-only, and there are no action buttons except for Save in the Counsel Center UI and Save/Update/Discuss/Follow in the classic UI.

 

We've been running SN for a long time now, so it's very possible that our customizations (some are on Task) are causing some conflicts, but wondering if anyone else has seen this before?
