Currently, as process improvement, we are trying to redesign the group management in servicenow, which covers creation,modification and retirement of groups, additionally manage the members of group as well.
Since group table is one of the foundational table, it interacts with most of the modules that we have, hence it is critical to manage especially the retirement carefully.
The idea is, when group is retired, we need to ensure it is not used in any catalog item workflow. Otherwise, the group will retire and catalog workflow will keep assigning the catalog task to the retired one.
Has anyone tried automating it. Would be great hearing it from you.
