Read attachment in service portal Catalog Item.

Hi,

I have a requirement where i need to provide users a excel to upload and submit it back in to the service Portal catalog item and once user attach the excel to the form , i want to validate the data from the excel before submission of the request.

Can anyone please guide me on this?

Hello Deepika,

I hope you have gone through this article:

Reading Attachment Contents || Copying attachment || Attachment Properties .

1. You need to write onSumbit Client script and with the help of above code you can read the contents from attachment.

2. To find a attachment added to opened catalog item form, you can refer this codes,
