After much discussions and planning, the much awaited ServiceNow Developer New Delhi Meetup finally KICK-STARTED.

IMG_2942.JPGBeing my first time on the podium, I wasn't sure of how things could turn, but with grit and perseverance, I was able to pull this off quite well (to my amazement).

We initiated and inaugurated our first ever New Delhi ServiceNow Developer meetup by introducing people with the concept and intention of these meetups; 'Who we are', 'What is our intent' & 'What we have planned'. These were complimented by videos prepared by josh.nerius & dave.slusher addressing to the New Delhi ServiceNow MeetUp attendees.

After a brief introduction and a quick insight on our agenda, we went for lunch. The best part about lunch was the food IMG_2958.JPGwas quite up to every one's liking and people spent their time well, connecting to each other knowing about their work, interests, etc.

Post lunch, things settled in and we had a good time discussing about Automated Testing Framework, it's features and what is new with the Jakarta release. While we also discussed about 'Guided Tours' and the new feature in Jakarta, i.e., the 'Guided Tour Designer'.

It was a mix crowd of ServiceNow enthusiasts & seasoned professionals, who were keen to know and understand the new features within ServiceNow they can leverage at work. We had good discussions and suggestions about some topics we can prepare for, in our next meetup, while folks were quite interested to learn about ATF & Guided Tours in ServiceNow, as they IMG_3004.JPGwere less explored and used.

Special thanks to saraja.panda and his team, to help us with the pre-recorded WebEx session on 'Guided Tour Designer'. The session was quite informative for all and it helped people understand the benefits, encouraging them to utilize this feature in ServiceNow.

My heartiest gratitude to josh.nerius,dave.slusher & licubed for helping us setup this first ever inaugural event in New Delhi. Everyone who attended this meetup liked the idea of this initiative and wants to convey their thanks and regards to you all.

Lastly, I would like to thank my team (prabhat-awc, hiteshsharma harshvardhansingh, er.manojbhati@gmail.com & aalo) who had volunteered to step up with me and help make this event a success!

With that note, I look forward to our next meetup and intend to make it even better than the last!
