Catalog item component not working for Record producer in Configurable Workspace?

Hi!

I am trying to create a Catalog Item Page in a Scooped application with a Catalog Item Componen, but it won't work properly.

The Record Producer is in the Scooped app and it is creating a new record in one of the tables in the scoopd app.

The record Producer producer Script is not including any redirect, or crunt.insert()/current.update() lines.

The CAt Item component is configured with the RP sys_id and the Requested For ID from the logged in user, mode is standalone, and the Event handler Event= Request Generated and Handler is Open Page or URL to a page in the current experience (record), and the paths is table and sysId from Event Payload. - The page is slicked in to Open in new tab
What I can fins this is how it should be configured, but when I test the page, the RP is viewed, but when I fill it in and click on Submit, I get an Error - Record aldready exists.
When I look in the table the record is created, but in Workspace I am not redirected to the Record page?
The platform is on Australia patch 2 hotfix 2a 
Anyone has a suggestion?

I tried using the Catalog Item Component in two of my PDI instances—one on the Zurich release and another on the Australia release.

In the Zurich instance, I am able to redirect to the record page using the Request Generated event mapping. However, when I use the same configuration in the Australia version, the target record is not being created at all.

This could potentially be related to a patch issue. Raise a ServiceNow ticket to confirm whether this is a patch-related defect?
