We have configure Slack external content connector in our dev instance and crawled two slack channels.
When searching, the results seldom comes up from this search source and when it do, it's only attached files.
I can see that the crawl found "documents" but it's night and day compared to our connector to Confluence which works really well.
What can we expect from Slack external content connector?
Can it find answers from discussions or will it just index files?

Hi @fraggel
Check the Servicenow documentation on it. You will get all the details.
Slack external content connector
The Slack external content connector retrieves messages and attachments from public channels in your Slack source system and makes their content and metadata searchable in AI Search applications.
Search administrators can run or schedule content crawls to update searchable content and metadata from your source system. Content crawls feed their data to AI Search for indexing.
The indexed content and metadata are stored as records in a connector-specific indexed source. Search administrators can create search sources from this indexed source and link them to search profiles to make the indexed records searchable in AI Search applications.

I have read that article as well, which is why I am asking.
From our tests, we don't get any messages so I wonder what that article mean by "The Slack external content connector retrieves messages...".
If i click on a file it found from slack, then I will be redirected to the message where the file was attached. But I cannot search for any conversations without files.
