Enabling "new interaction" menu/button or adding service catalog to a new Workspace

Hi All,

I am currently configuring a new Workspace in UI Builder (we don't have App Engine Studio).

As part of this I've enabled a side menu and I'm looking to create something as a landing page/workspace for our internal itil users similar to Agent Workspace.

A few questions on workspaces that hopefully someone can help with:

1. How do you configure/add the new interaction button to a workspace? CSM/FSM Workspace has this by default, CMDB workspace and the one I've created do not.

2. Is it possible to configure this new interaction list like in Agent workspace?

Example of what we have in agent workspace. In agent workspace you can configure what shows up when you click the plus icon, we removed interaction and added the service catalog or a new incident record:

3. Is it possible to add the service catalog into the side menu navigation OR into the new interaction menu?

Example of what we've done in agent workspace, we added it as an icon on the left AND via the new interaction menu:

Any help from someone who has configured a workspace will be much appreciated!

Thanks,

Rhodri

Hi Rhodri,

Here's an article that should help. It lists a few actions and how you do them in both agent and configurable workspaces: Migrating to Configurable Workspace. In a configurable workspace you use a UX Page Property.

HELLO @Rhodri ,

YES YOU CAN DO IT VIA BELOW STEPS

1)Open your workspace and on the top right corner click on profile  icon and select configure workspace

find_real_file.png

2) And after clicking on it you will see the form with the related list "new record menu items" under that you can create your new record

Hi Mohith, you've answered how to do this is an agent workspace, but I think Rhohit is asking about a configurable workspace.
