so the details in the image you shared should not open by default and should show only when clicked?
If yes then try to rearrange the icons
Contextual side Panel - Can you set a default or change the icon order?

I was already on that article and seems the menus are on protected policy and unable to rearrange. And yes to answer your question, it should only show when clicked, not automatically or by default.
