New login display in Xanadu

Hi Team!

In a couple of the dev instances I tinker around in, I've notice that after upgrading to Xanadu, following login, the usual 'Welcome' screeen is not appearing.

Instead a large version of the company logo assigned to the banner is appearing. (Attached screenshot is from my PDI.)

I assume this is controlled by a system property? If so, what is it please?

I found a couple other Community posts with the same issue. I was able to resolve the issue by doing the following:

  1. Navigate to System Properties > Basic Configuration UI16.
  2. Locate the property labeled "Banner image for UI16".
  3. Click the + sign on that property and upload the image/icon/logo you want to use. This will be the banner image (for logged-in users) and the image above the login box (for unauthenticated users).
  4. Click the "Save" button in the top-right of the properties page.

Updating that system property should cause a cache flush. I was testing in an incognito window of Chrome, so I just closed all my incognito window and opened a new one. The instance then did everything I was expecting after logging in. You may find that you need to log out of ServiceNow and back in or maybe clear your browser cache.
