Restriction and redirection in Servicenow

I need your help to find a proper solution for this particular requirement I have.
So we have created a custom workspace and we are giving it to a group of people to work on.These users should access only the workspace and should not access any tables from backend, that is, by using incident _list.do or change_request.do. Since they will work in incidents hence they are itil role. We have created custom role for them and enabled redirection to the workspace when they login. But if at all they try to access the tables from backend we want to redirect them to workspace or restrict them. Any ideas or suggestions what would be best possible solution for this????
