ServiceNow CLI Installation Issues

UIB Whisperer

Hi everyone,

I'm running into a few issues installing the ServiceNow CLI. I'll add the details of my setup below but after installing the ServiceNow CLI though NPM and I try running any command with the "snc" prefix, it says that the command was not found ("zsh: command not found: snc"). I went to the installed and I'm able to see the SN CLI package there with the "now-cli" command available but not the "snc" one.

  • Node v14 using Node Version Manager (NVM)
  • "@servicenow/cli" v24.0.0 globally using NPM
  • MacOS (Sonoma)

I know that we should be able to install the CLI from the Store but I don't have HI Portal access and altough I can request it, I much prefer tapping into the NPM official package.
