Setting to allow attachment?

Hi Community,

I created a custom catalogue item where an attachment is required. The attachment button on the catalogue item is available when I test it with an admin user, but this is not available through a test user, who has at least an itil role.

Is there a certain role or ACL that is required so that the user can attach a file for the catalog item? (this catalogue is only available through service catalog and not the service portal)

The setting currently does not have Hide Attachment - True.

There was an additional setting added by the client. This setting was in property glide.attachment.role and the customer has already added a role here, which prevented other users without the roles listed from accessing the attachment mark.

Hi @jnt-cnt ,

There shouldn't be any ACL doing this, if you are allowing to access the catalog item, then definitely they will get access to Attachment button.

Hi @Community Alums,

Thank you for your insight

Yeah I didnt think there would be ACL for it, but there's still no sign of an attachment file on the icon so i thought there might be another setting which I might have to change...
