Which table to check to modify manage shift of on call rota

Hi,

I want to create client scripts to impose some restrictions on this  form.  Any idea where exactly to check this?

In my setup,I have 2 schedules for same group with overlapping shifts, and no secondary coverage.

I want to enforce the restriction for users to Either:

• create a time off record first for the user before creating another provide coverage shift for another user.
• If that is not is possible, I want to force the submitter to confirm if they want to keep a long duration of assignments before they hit the submit button, because right now it auto populates till 30 days or so.

In that case, if the user is not careful and goes ahead with the prepopulated dates, it automatically assigns the remaining timespan to this new user,  and overrides the original schedule for the on call.
